Theme : Feed Back Loop

The Damned is a slow-paced  linear narrative driven first person game, where you play as a grandfather and a grandson. Play as both of them as you unravel the mystery of how your family fell apart. 

Entry submission for the GJL Game Parade "Spring" 2025!

The theme “Feedback loop” was interpreted by our team as a succession of actions and the consequences of them. The whole game runs through the idea of using the results in the present of the actions that the grandfather took in the past, switching between both characters in order to advance in the story. The final task, opening the dam, serves as a break with the rest of the game, as the grandfather who has been the one taking actions, turns into the passive actor by asking the grandson to do the action that will lead to new consequences in the future.

This project is built using Unreal Engine 5 and Blueprint, with a focus on narrative design, gameplay design, programming, level design, and art direction.
